About

I am an Assistant Professor of Strategic Management at Cal Poly’s Orfalea College of Business in San Luis Obispo, California. My research examines how managerial labor markets and organizational structure shape firms’ strategies and outcomes. My work has been published in Strategic Management Journal and Organization Science.

I hold a Ph.D. in Strategy from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis. I received the 2026 FIU Alvah H. Chapman Jr. Dissertation Award for my dissertation research on hybrid CEOs.
